Useful Information

The Ashburnham Experience

Over the years we have built a reputation for offering our visitors a warm welcome, be they individuals or groups many of them return year after year to challenge this historic course. The information below will help you plan and enjoy your day to our private members' club.

Green Fees

During less busy months there may be availability of discounts on these rates, so of you are contemplating bringing a group to Ashburnham please contact the office in order to discuss your requirements. We would recommend that you browse our online booking facility for special deals from day to day or view our latest special deals on the home page.

Handicap Certificates

We request that all players are members of golf clubs or societies affiliated to CONGU and are able to show a handicap certificate if requested.

Should it be that you do not have a handicap certificate you should be able to play to a standard of golfers who have a handicap of 28 or better for men, or 36 or better for ladies. If you wish to enquire about your handicap please speak to the Professional or the office.

Equipment Hire

Visitors are required to have their own clubs; the sharing of bags is not permitted.

The Professional may be able to arrange for the hire of clubs given notice. SOFT SPIKED GOLF SHOES must be worn on the course

Dress Code

A common sense approach to the interpretation of a ‘smart casual’ standard of dress is requested. Where tailored shorts are acceptable on the course the wearing of blue denim, collarless tee shirts, trainers, sports vests etc. is not permitted. Please click here for the full Dress Standards Policy.
